HUMN 202 - Human Expressions of Spiritualities

This optional course meets the required 2 credit humanities senior elective but may be taken at any level. This course will examine a wide variety of expressions of spiritualities. Students will learn the history of each of the spiritualities and the fundamentals of the religious context (denomination) in which each spirituality developed. Students will also experience prayer styles, devotions, specific practices, and exercises which comprise each of the spiritualities studied. The connection between spiritualities and significant life events will be examined.
