NURS 579 - Transition to Advanced Nursing Practice This course is designed for the nurse practitioner student to analyze the roles and functions that advanced practice nurses assume upon entering practice. Particular emphasis is given to guiding behaviors that are necessary for successful collaborative practice. This course will focus on historical, social, political, health policy and economic issues related to advance practice as a nurse practitioner. 3 credit hours
