NURS 3525 - Introduction to Complementary and Alternative Therapies The course introduces students to complementary and alternative therapies commonly used by health care consumers. Explores the philosophies and treatments associated with medical systems not currently considered a part of conventional (allopathic or western) medicine and examines selected therapies, along with their implications for nursing practice. This course is a combination of in-class and out-of-class sessions. 2 credit hours
