HLTH 202 - Cultural Competence in Healthcare In this course, students will explore the provision of care to culturally and socioeconomically diverse groups. An exploration of key elements in cultural competency as they pertain to individuals and families across the lifespan will be discussed. Evidence based practice models will be used to analyze disparities among vulnerable groups which exist in the United States healthcare system. Students will develop advocacy skills to promote quality outcomes for diverse populations.
