NURS 750 - Translating Evidence into Nursing Practice This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to translate a variety of evidence into nursing practice. Students will expand their understanding of the research process, current models of EBP, and will gain new skills in advanced research and appraisal. Students will examine a wide selection of basic and advanced research designs used in clinical, health services, and social research, gaining skills necessary to be leaders in data-driven clinical environments. Specific attention will be paid to the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of practice innovations, including change management, diffusion of innovations, and dissemination of findings. Findings from the emergent field of implementation science will provide the background for application and evaluation of practice innovations. 3 credit hours
