NURS 557 - Economics of Health Care This course provides the student with a broad understanding of the principles of economic as applied to the health care system and provides a framework for analysis of current issues challenging health care. The three major tasks of economics covered in this course are descriptive, explanatory, and evaluative economics. Graphic analysis and models are used to illustrate the relationships among economic variables and to assist in drawing inferences. 3 credit hours
