PSYC 310 - Understanding the Self The course is designed to assist students in differentiating how every day cultural references to the “self” vary with the scientific theory and research findings in exploration of the “self.” This introductory course is designed to help students explore the relevance of social science research addressing the “self.” A wide range of constructs will be presented. The course will assist students in developing scientific and analytic thinking skills necessary for success in work. school, and personal relationships. 3 credit hours Prerequisite: PSYC 101
