NURS 592 - Acute/Emergent Care III

This course provides the adult-gerontological acute care nurse practitioner student with a culminating practicum experience in order to demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to proficiently deliver care to clients in acute, critical and chronic physical illness. Emphasis is placed upon the student’s independence in the application of knowledge of complex acute, critical and chronic physical illnesses while utilizing evidence based clincal decision making, problem identification and management, and interdisciplinary collaboration of client care.
