NURS 755 - Complex Healthcare Environments This course assists the learner in analyzing and evaluating U.S. health care delivery using a systems model across three domains: within the organization, within the health care industry, and within society. U.S. health care will be explored from its historical origin to current systems. A focus is placed on the role of stakeholders in providing high quality care to meet the current and future needs of patient populations. The concepts of organizational behavior and leadership are applied in assessing organizations, identifying systems’ issues, and developing system-wide strategies for practice delivery.
