NURS 294 - Foundations of Health Assessment and Health Promotion in Caring Health Practices This course introduces the student to the nursing process with an emphasis on holistic assessment across the life-span and provides opportunities to implement the nursing caring practices of health assessment and health promotion in a variety of settings. Holistic assessment includes cultural, developmental, nutritional, psychosocial, psychomotor, and spiritual dimensions. 5 credit hours Total Course Hours 64 Theory 42 Lab: Total Weekly Hours 10 Theory 7 Lab Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Second Degree Accelerated Program
